IMPER ITALIA has been producing protective anti-corrosion paints for steel structures from the '30s and its products are today included in the technical specifications of many important end-users. Approval and certification has been awarded by official organisations such as: ENEL, Italian Railways, ENEA, Italian Navy, Turin and Rome Chambers of Commerce, Thermal and Nuclear Power Station Design Centre, Bureau Veritas, CSI (Montedison Applied Research Centre), Giordano Institute and many others, which testify to the very high quality of the products.

Today the SKILL Division, besides the traditional product series, sells, in Italy, for international market projects, and for the off-shore sector, the paints produced by INTERNATIONAL PAINT Ltd (AKZO NOBEL Group) world-wide leader for "Protective Coating". Moreover, after the IAM trade-mark acquisition, that in Italy marks the protective paints of AKZO NOBEL, it manufactures in Torino plant and sells the products, formulated with the original formulation, of the IAMPROOF line for anti-corrisive treatments in general, and of the IAMSUB line for the piping sector.
The SKILL Division sells also the products of the "CHARTEK" line (belonging to the same INTERNATIONAL) for the protection against hydrocarbons fire in petrochemical and oil plants, in particular for tanks containing liquified gas (LPG).

 

As per the protective coatings to be employed on suspended bridge cables (ELLETROMETALL 8870 Series), SKILL Division set up a sole distributor which is taking care of the American and Far East markets:
