Bituminous system

The bituminous sector has been the company’s core business for over 80 years.

Its products and waterproofing systems, the result of continuous research and development for more than 80 years, ensure waterproofing even in the most difficult situations.

The range of products includes:

  • Prefabricated bitumen-polymer membranes for roofing, foundations, hydraulic works, viaducts and for special uses;
  • Bituminous emulsions;
  • Synthetic fluid waterproofing agents;
  • Bituminous mastic and sealants;
  • Protective coatings and primers for waterproofing membranes;
  • Thermal insulation for roofs.

Since 1966 IMPER ITALIA produces bitumen-polymer waterproofing membranes (MBDP), and is “leader” both for the quality of production and for its presence on the national and international markets. This is also confirmed by certificates of technical suitability, issued by the ITC (CNR) and by the member institutes of the UEAtc (Union Européenne pour l’Agrément technique dans la construction) such as: CSTB (France), BBA (Great Britain), IAB ( Ireland), UEAtc (Belgium), as well as other certificates of international organizations such as EMI (Hungary), JIS (Japan), BRANZ (New Zealand), Factory Mutual System (USA), Bureau Veritas (France), SOCOTEC (France), Laboratoire Central Ponts et Chaussées (France).
